Job Description

 

The ideal candidate will have the strong ability to conceptualize and design through creative thinking, from start to completion. Understand the functionality of package design with knowledge of materials, equipment, and products.

Work in partnership with estimating/sales departments by evaluating and re-designing existing packaging that offers cost effective and time solutions.  Interact with and support manufacturing and graphic design departments.  

 

 

  Requirements

 

• Minimum of 3-5 years experience of design in a factory/plant environment.
• Proficient in Impact CAD/CAM or equivalent design software. 
• Maintain database of customer CAD drawings.
• Working knowledge of Kongsberg sample making table.
• Order and design tooling for manufacturing equipment.
• Able to coordinate multiple priorities and projects under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail required.
• Ability to work in a team environment without supervision.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, MS Office & Windows.
• BS/Tech degree highly desirable but not required.
